DSW Galleries features the fine art of Newport resident Jeremy Likness, who specializes in night-time photography and deep space imaging or "astrophotography." DSW stands for "deep sky workflows" which describes the process for acquiring celestial images. He also takes stunning photographs of waves and landscapes on the rugged Oregon coast and publishes motion art and behind-the-scenes videos.
 

Our aim is to provide our visitors with an unforgettable experience, where they can indulge their love for art and connect with the beauty of nature. Jeremy's exquisite collection of metal, glass, and canvas prints show a unique and often unseen side of God's creation.​ You can use our artwork request form to learn more about a piece or to make a custom request.

In addition to his fine art pieces, Jeremy is available for one-on-one instruction for individuals interested in learning more about astrophotography and nighttime photography. Beyond instruction and answering questions, Jeremy's favorite mode of teaching is to join you in the field and provide real-time feedback. He has volunteered for several presentations, donated pieces to silent auctions and co-hosted a star party with the City of Newport Parks and Recreation.
